this new bethlehem

(to our sister of the sacred packe, Erika Fuego)

“…and we hear clouds amidst snowflakes falling..”

we kunnen zeggen dit vele manieren

we can say this many ways

nous pouvons dire cela plusieurs façons

i look at you and i see you not seeing

but just now i would like  to say it this way

gods and goddesses brother and sisters

to just you and only you who are beauty

you look at me and you see me seeing beauty

in fact you as the reader of these secret words are

brother and sisters gods and goddesses

if you are not that balsamic vinegar

having eyes looking into yours not seeing beauty

then we are not this extra virgin olive oil

gods are brothers sisters are goddesses

ericakfuego2

but together we are nothing if not this new bethlehem

erikafuego3

brothers are gods are goddesses are sisters when

looking deeply we find beauty kissing our lips
